Welcome to the 2nd international workshop on Innovation and Commercialization of Micro &  Nanotechnology  —— ICMAN2008.

The International Workshop on Innovation and Commercialization of Micro & Nanotechnology (ICMAN) fosters innovation and commercialization of micro and nanotechnologies and will gather people related with micro and nanotechnologies from all over the world, including the renowned researchers in the field, chief administrators and senior engineers from industries, research agencies and inventors, as well as venture capital and government representatives. The attendees from different backgrounds will share and discuss their view points to seek the approaches for development of micro/nano devices and Microsystem technologies, and boost the commercialization of related technologies. ICMAN will also provide a bridge for discussion and cooperation between technology holders and investors, to boost the commercialization of the promising technologies.

The 1^st ICMAN had been successfully held in Suzhou (Oct., 2007), more than 20 countries and areas contributed, and topics of Micro and Nano commercialization were discussed widely. Potential international collaboration and connection are constructing based on this informative workshop, it is promoting the innovation and industrialization development of Micro/Nano technology worldwide.

The 2^nd ICMAN will be held in Xi’an, China, on October 18-20, 2008. Xi’an is one of the oldest and historical cities in the world, also an education center in China.
